From Sketch to Sew!

Five Weeks of Creative Possibilities – Book One or More to Build Your Collection!

Dreaming of designing your own clothes? Whether you’re serious about a future in fashion or simply love to create, this flexible fashion camp series is for you!

Led by fashion industry veteran and educator Emily Giardina and longtime educator and sewist Molly Crawford, our Fashion Studio Camps take students through the full creative journey — from concept to runway-ready garment.

What you will do:

• 🎨 Develop your own fashion concept and moodboard

• ✏️ Learn sketching and illustration techniques

• 👚 Shop for appropriate fabric for their design and sewing pattern

• 📏 Take body measurements and learn to read sewing patterns

• 🪡 Sew and construct your own wearable garments and accessories

• 📸 End the week with a photoshoot showcase of your designs and mini celebration!

Each week offers a wide range of projects and techniques tailored to skill level, so students can join for a single week or stack multiple weeks to deepen their skills.
Beginners start with simple silhouettes and woven fabrics, while returning and advanced students can explore knitwear, formal fabrics, and more complex sewing patterns.

🧵 The Final Week: Fashion Upcycling Camp
Learn how to reimagine and alter your own clothes — transforming well-loved garments and textiles into original fashion pieces and accessories.

Sewing Equipment and Materials are provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own fabrics for specific looks or to purchase when visiting our local fabric store, Mulberry Silks.

Time: Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm
